What is the Playdate?
The Mass Patriots Volleyball Club Playdate is an opportunity for talented girls' high school volleyball players to display their skills and athleticism for prospective college coaches.

When is it?
The tryout for the Playdate will take place on Sunday, November 25th, 2007 from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 p.m. at North Quincy High School, North Quincy, MA. The actual Playdate will take place on Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at North Quincy High School. HOWEVER, PLAYERS SHOULD ARRIVE AT THE GYM NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM ON DECEMBER 2nd SO THAT EVERYTHING CAN BE SET UP PRIOR TO THE 1:00 PM START TIME.

Who is eligible to tryout?
The Playdate is geared towards high school seniors and juniors who plan to play collegiate volleyball. Talented sophomore and freshman players are also encouraged to tryout.

How does it work?
On Sunday, November 25th, the players will be put through a battery of physical drills and skill tests and will be ranked based on their abilities. These ranks will be totaled and the 72 top scorers and additional 6-12 libero players overall will be invited to attend the Playdate on Sunday, December 2nd. These players will return to North Quincy High School on December 2nd and will receive a t-shirt with a number on it that will correspond to the number of their resume in the college coaches book. The college coaches will receive a booklet containing each of these players resumes.

NEW THIS YEAR!!!!! Please download the resume as a Word document, fill in the information, and email the resume to masspatriots@aol.com.
This way we can expedite the registration process when you arrive for the tryout.

Directions on how to download the resume: Right click on the link to the resume and then "Save Target As". It should save to
your computer as a .doc (Windows Word document) file.

And one more note: If, for whatever reason (computer issues, timing etc), you can't pre-register, just print off
the resume, fill it in, and bring it with you. We would never deny anyone the chance to tryout because they
didn't send the resume ahead of time. We're just hoping to expedite the check-in process on the day of tryouts.

What Colleges will be participating this year?
We aren't able to provide a definite listing as this will vary based on each individual college's needs. Click here to see the colleges and universities that have participated in the last two year's Playdates.
